Grant Walker - Genealogy Advocate with a Passion for Utah Heritage

With a longstanding interest in genealogy and family history, particularly as it relates to his Utah pioneer roots, Grant Walker actively researches his ancestry. He uses platforms like FamilySearch and has contributed to local publications such as the Lehi Free Press. Grant Walker is currently exploring ways to develop a website focused on helping others with Utah heritage engage more easily with their own family histories.

Mr. Walker earned both an associate degree and a bachelor of science in applied business management from Brigham Young University-Idaho. During his academic journey, he earned a certificate in hospitality and tourism management and consistently achieved honor roll distinction. He previously worked as an adjuster with Allstate Insurance in Billings, Montana, where he handled claims across multiple states, earned Xactimate Level 3 certification, and received internal recognition for his performance.

Grant Walker, an Eagle Scout, is a longtime member of Business Professionals of America. He achieved a first-place finish in the National Banking and Finance Competition. In his free time, he enjoys strategic board games like Settlers of Catan (where he ranked 816th globally), golf, pickleball, home improvement projects, and cheering on BYU Football.
